ANNIE LENNOX: MY LIFE WOULD HAVE BEEN EASIER IF I WAS GAY
[Aceshowbiz, 11/29/2010]
Twice-divorced singer Annie Lennox has branded men "a huge disappointment", insisting her life would have been "easier" if she was gay. The singer divorced her first husband, Radha Raman, in 1985 after a year-long union, and her second marriage to record producer Uri Fruchtman collapsed in 2000 after 12 years. Lennox, 55, is currently single and fears she may never find lasting love - and she's convinced she would have more chance of a happy ending if she was a lesbian. She tells Britain's Saga magazine, "It's not like I think being gay could be an alternative, 'cos it isn't. I sometimes wish it would have been 'cos it would have made life easier..." "I wouldn't want to disallow the possibility of falling in love again, but I think that for 90, maybe even 95 per cent, of women, men are a huge disappointment in relationship terms. (But) I'm not a man-hater, let me say that. I love men, love their company."

PREGNANT PINK REFUSES TO GIVE UP ALCOHOL
[Aceshowbiz, 11/29/2010]
Pop star Pink is refusing to completely give up alcohol during her pregnancy, as she's convinced the occasional drink is "good for you". The singer is expecting a baby with her husband Carey Hart and she is due to become a mother for the first time in the spring 2011. But the "So What" star is still indulging in the odd glass of booze, as she doesn't want to deprive herself while she is pregnant. She tells Britain's The Sun, "I'm pretty disciplined, when it's time to play I play, when it's time to work I work, and when it's time to be careful I'll be careful. It's (an occasional drink is) good for you. There's a whole manual that's six foot deep filled with things you can't do." "No drinking, no eating this... In Ireland I saw a nine-months pregnant woman with a martini in her hand. Or you go to Italy and there's a nine-months pregnant woman with a big old rack of wine in her hand."

OKO ONO, SON SWAP MEMORIES OF BEING RICH
[AP, 11/29/2010]
Sean Lennon is finding connections with his 77-year-old mother, Yoko Ono - not about the Beatles or John Lennon - but about her life in an interview broadcast on NPR as part of a national oral history project. In the interview aired Friday, November 26, 2010, Ono recalls meeting her father for the first time when she was not yet 3 years old. Ono says her mother was from a very rich family, and it made her father feel insecure. Still, Ono says her mother would send her father to work as a banker in a chauffeured car. But he would get out two blocks from his office to walk so he wouldn't be seen with a driver. The 35-year-old Sean Lennon reveals to his mother that he used to do the same thing when she sent him to school in a limo. Ono says it must be a DNA memory that led to the same experience.

"I MISS BEATING PEOPLE UP" SAYS POP STAR PINK
[Aceshowbiz, 11/29/2010]
Pregnant pop star Pink has put her rowdy days behind her now she's expecting, but she misses "scrapping" as she hasn't had a "real good fight" in years. The feisty singer is preparing to become a mother for the first time with her husband Carey Hart, and is settling down into family life. Pink is adamant she has calmed down a lot in recent years, but still yearns for an explosive argument because life can become "boring" without the odd punch-up. She tells Britain's The Sun, "A real good fight - it's been years. And you know what? I miss it, I really miss scrapping. I've become quite boring in my old age. I stopped getting in fights, I stopped beating people up." "I mean, back in the day people could just punch each other, get over it and be friends the next day. Now it's lawsuits, it's boring, just boring."

IS HARRY POTTER STAR THE FATHER OF A SECRET CHILD?
[Talk Ent, 11/29/2010]
No need to conduct a paternity test: British actor Tom Felton says that contrary to Internet rumours, he isn't the father of a secret love child. On November 21, a postcard featuring photos of Felton, 23, and six of his Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows costars was published on the Post Secret website. The anonymous postcard read: "One of these men is the father of the most amazing little girl in the world. He's never met her. He never will. He probably can't even remember my name." The shocking rumour sent Harry Potter fans into a frenzy, which prompted Felton, who is dating film assistant Jade Olivia, to address the rumour on Twitter. "My friend just found this on the web! Just to confirm that I can be cancelled out of this equation," he wrote Wednesday, linking to the postcard. Twins Oliver and James Phelps, who play George and Fred Weasley respectively, also denied the report. "Apart from making me laugh, I can honestly say it's 100% not me," Oliver, 24, said on Twitter Thursday. Added James: "To clear things up, this isn't me. Funny, but nothing to do with me." The remaining four Harry Potter stars who appear on the postcard -- Daniel Radcliffe, 21, Rupert Grint, 22, Jason Isaacs, 47, and Alan Rickman, 64 -- have yet to comment.

MUSIC LEGEND WILLIE NELSON ARRESTED FOR POT
[Talk Ent, 11/29/2010]
Country music legend Willie Nelson was arrested Friday morning, November 26, 2010 in Sierra Blanca, Texas at a Border Patrol checkpoint for allegedly possessing 6 ounces of marijuana. According to Hudspeth County Sheriff Arvin West, Nelson was traveling in his tour bus from California to Austin when Nelson was detained by Border Patrol agents at about 9 a.m. Friday. Hudspeth County Sheriff's deputies arrived at the checkpoint and then booked Nelson into the Hudspeth County Jail on a $2,500 bond. He posted the bond and was on his way back to Austin, West said. In late January of this year, six of Nelson's band and crew members were busted in North Carolina for allegedly possessing moonshine and marijuana in a vehicle they were in. They were issued citations. Also in January of this year, Nelson's tour bus was stopped at the Sierra Blanca Border Patrol check point for five hours and searched, according to a blog post by Nelson's daughter at the time of the incident. The group received one citation, but she did not say what it was for. Authorities searched Nelson's tour bus back in 2006 in Louisiana and found about a pound-and-a-half of marijuana and mushrooms. Nelson was charged with a misdemeanor
